Alfa Hair Dressers

Alfa Hair Dressers is in Vaiskh Appartment, right on the Ring Road in Pratap Nagar. Being beside Cafe Coffee Corner means it’s very easy to find us, even if you aren't from this part of Nagpur. The shop is a decent size for a barber. We have some black chairs and big mirrors. It’s usually me and a couple of other guys working here. We see all sorts of people since we are right on the Ring Road. Some people just stop by while they are traveling through the city. The traffic outside is constant, so you hear the hum of cars and trucks all day long. We keep the place fairly simple inside. There are some pictures of different hair styles on the wall, but they are pretty old and faded now. Most people just ask for the same basic thing anyway. We have a small sink in the back for washing hair when it's needed. It’s not a fancy salon with soft music or expensive scents. It’s more of a place where guys come to talk and get their hair sorted out. During the summer, the Nagpur heat is really tough on everyone, so we keep the water cooler full for anyone who comes in. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know we are here. It's a steady life, just cutting hair and keeping the shop running from morning till late at night.
