Fpodidwana Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in the Didwana area of Nagaur. You can find our main point of contact at Maya Kanwar’s place. She is the wife of Bajrang Singh in Aagunta. We are all farmers from around here who know each other well. The name Fpodidwana Farmer Producer Company Limited might sound a bit official, but it just means we are a group of farmers from Didwana working together. We aren't some big operation with a lobby and receptionists and air conditioning. It’s just us working out of our homes in the village. Nagaur is a place known for its farming, and we take a lot of pride in what we do. We deal with the usual crops like bajra or moong, depending on what the season is. Working as a group really helps us when we need to get supplies. If we buy our seeds and tools together, it costs a little bit less for everyone. And when it comes time to sell our harvest, we have more strength because there are many of us. It’s hard work, especially when the summer heat really hits Rajasthan. We don’t have much time for fancy talk or business strategies. We just focus on the fields and the weather. Maya Kanwar helps with the organization part of things from her home in Aagunta. Most of us have been neighbors for years, so there is a lot of trust between us. We are just trying to make sure we can keep our farms going.
