Suryodaya Shishuloka

We've been here at No.98 on Kantharaj Urs Road in Lakshmipuram for a while now. It's a busy part of Mysore but we've got our space set up for the little ones. Dealing with kids all day keeps us on our toes, really. Most mornings it is quite noisy when everyone arrives. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the children are looked after properly. The building isn't brand new or anything fancy, but it works for what we do. People in the neighborhood know where to find us. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much during drop-off times. We usually start quite early to get things ready before the first lot of kids shows up. It's just a regular place where children come to spend their day while their parents are at work. We have some toys and basic stuff for them to play with. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the daily routine and making sure everyone gets their snacks and naps on time. Mysore has changed a lot, but this corner of Lakshmipuram feels the same. The front gate is usually open by 8 am. Inside, the rooms are painted in bright colors, though some spots might need a touch-up soon. It's just how a place for kids ends up looking after some time.
