Kangaroo Kids

We are located at number 1054 on the 4th Stage of New Kantharaj Urs Road. It is a well-known street here in the T K Layout area of Mysore. If you know the neighborhood, you probably pass by us quite often. The school isn't some massive campus; it’s more of a local spot where things feel a bit more personal. Every morning the street gets a little crowded with cars and rickshaws, but once the kids are inside, things settle into a regular rhythm. I’ve been here for a couple of seasons now and it’s always interesting to see how the weather changes the mood of the place. On rainy days in Mysore, we keep everyone inside and it gets pretty loud with all the energy trapped in the rooms. We have different areas set up for different ages, but mostly it’s just a lot of open space for them to move around. The walls have some drawings and stuff pinned up, mostly things the kids made themselves. It’s not perfect, some of the paint is probably chipped here and there, but it feels like a real place where work actually happens. We don’t do big speeches or anything, we just focus on the day-to-day stuff like snacks and basic learning. It’s a solid little school for the families living around this part of Mysore and we just try to keep things running smoothly.
