St Thomas Higher Primary School

We've been here at 1St Cross in Vishweshwara Nagar for quite a while now. Most people in Mysore know the spot. The school building isn't fancy, but it does the job. Every morning the kids start showing up and the quiet street gets a bit louder. St Thomas Higher Primary School is just a local place where things happen day by day. We have the usual classrooms and some old desks that have seen a lot of use. The fans hum during the afternoons when it gets a bit warm outside. It’s mostly just us doing what we do every week. Sometimes the gate squeaks a little when the parents come to pick everyone up. You can see the houses nearby and people walking their dogs or going to the shops while we're inside working. It’s a normal part of the neighborhood. We don't have big flashy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the wall. Inside, there's the smell of old paper and chalk dust, even though things change over time. Being in Mysore 570008, we are right in the middle of things. The staff usually brings their own lunch and we sit together when there's a break. It’s not a complicated setup. We just keep the doors open and follow the schedule. Life here is simple and moves at its own pace. Sometimes the water cooler acts up, but we get it fixed and keep going.
