This area gets very lively, especially when the exhibition is in town. You can hear the sounds of the city from our front door. Sri Annapoorneshwari Tours & Travels is a local spot where we help people figure out their trips. The office is a modest space. We have some maps on the walls and a few desks where we work. It’s not a high-end corporate office. We have some plants in the window that we try to keep alive. People from the neighborhood come by to ask about ticket prices or to book a van for a family outing. We’ve been here for several years now. The traffic on Tank Bond Road can be heavy, but it brings people to our door. We spend a lot of time checking dates and confirming reservations. It’s a lot of clerical work, really. We don't have a fancy dress code or anything. Usually, we're just in regular clothes, drinking coffee and talking to customers. It’s a practical business. We focus on getting the details right so people don't have trouble on their trips. We just do our best to stay organized in a busy part of Mysore. Sometimes the phone rings after we have closed, but we usually pick up anyway.
