The Travel Point

We set up The Travel Point right here in Hinkal. It’s not a huge place, just a small office where we handle travel stuff for the local folks. Most days involve staring at flight screens and trying to find the best routes for people who want to go visit family or take a short break. The desk is usually covered in printouts, passports, and half-finished cups of coffee. We don't have a big team or a fancy call center. It’s just us sitting here, answering the phone when it rings and talking to people who walk in off the street. Hinkal is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to hand over a ticket, which is always annoying. We know a lot of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away. It’s more about having a chat and getting the bookings done right without too much fuss. We don't use any complicated software, just the usual websites everyone else uses, but we have the patience to stick with it until the booking goes through. The chairs are a bit old and the sign outside has faded a little in the sun, but people know where we are. It’s a simple way to make a living, helping neighbors get from one place to another without getting a headache over the details.
