S A Indian Tours & Travels is right across from St. Philomena’s Church on Ashoka Road. You can find us in Shop No. 384/3 inside the Samantha Complex. It’s a very famous spot because of the church, so there are always people around. We have a small shop that’s filled with maps and travel brochures, though most things are on the computer these days. We’ve been here for years, watching the tourists come and go from the church. We handle all sorts of travel needs, from local sightseeing to longer trips. It's not a corporate office. It's a place where you can sit down and talk about where you want to go. We don't have a script when we talk to people. We just listen and see what we can do to help. Sometimes the complex gets a bit crowded, especially on Sundays, but we don't mind the energy. We’ve got a couple of computers and a phone that stays busy. We know the drivers and the routes around Mysore like the back of our hand. If a road is closed for a procession, we usually know about it. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend money on big ads. We just try to do right by the people who walk through our door. That’s how we’ve stayed open this long in such a busy part of town. We are just here doing our job.
