We have been running our office at No. 4 in the Maharaja Shopping Complex for quite a while now. It is right on B N Road in Mysore, so we see a lot of the city traffic passing by every day. The office is not very big, just enough room for us to sit and handle the travel bookings that come in. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at train and bus schedules on the computer. It is just a few of us here. We handle local trips around the state and some further away too. My desk is usually covered in papers and notebooks because I like to write everything down by hand. It feels more reliable that way. The shopping complex gets busy on the weekends, but we are used to the noise. We have lived in Mysore for a long time, so we know the best routes to take. People just drop in when they are planning a trip and we sit down to talk it through. We don't have fancy brochures or a glossy reception area. It is just a practical place where we get the work done. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. We just want to make sure people get their tickets and cars without any trouble. It is a simple business and we like keeping it that way. If you are walking near the complex, you will see our sign.
