Our office for Mysooru Travel In is located right at 889 on the Vidyaranyapuram Main Road. We are pretty close to the Chamundipuram Circle, which most people in Mysore know well. It is a convenient place to be because there is always something going on nearby. We have been here for a bit, helping folks plan their trips and figure out their travel routes. It’s just a simple office where we sit down with a cup of tea and look at maps or schedules. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. It’s more of a local operation where we know the streets and the shortcuts around town. Being in Vidyaranyapuram means we get to see the neighborhood change throughout the day. In the mornings it is quiet, and then it picks up. We mostly just focus on getting the details right for anyone who walks through the door. Sometimes people stop in just to ask for directions because of where we are situated near the circle. We don't mind. We think of ourselves as part of the local community first. Running a travel business in a place like Mysore is interesting because there is always someone coming or going. We try to keep our desk tidy but there is usually a pile of brochures somewhere. It’s just how we work. No big fuss, just plain talk and getting the job done for our neighbors and visitors.
