Maruthi Cabs operates out of Kumbarageri here in Mysore. Our specific address is No.648, Prasanna, on 1st Cross. It’s right off Narayan Shastri Road, or N S Road as most people call it around here. We’re in the 570001 area, which is pretty central. The office is just a regular room where we manage the cabs and talk to the drivers. It’s not a polished corporate place at all. We have desks, some chairs, and a lot of phone lines ringing all day. Narayan Shastri Road is a busy place to be, so there is always noise and movement outside. We’ve been in Kumbarageri for a long time now. People know us as the local cab guys. We don't do much advertising; we just stay at our spot and take the calls as they come in. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with logs and schedules, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple setup for a simple business. We focus on getting the cars to where they need to go. Being on 1st Cross makes it easy for the drivers to pull in and out when they need to check in with us. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working the shifts. We like being in this part of Mysore because everything is close by. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as the traffic allows.
