Lakshmi Tent House

Lakshmi Tent House is located in the Krishnappa Building right on the Main Road in Hinkal. This part of Mysore is always moving, and being on the main road means we see everything going by. We aren't a travel agency like some of the others; we deal with tents, chairs, lighting, and all the stuff you need when you're putting on an event or a wedding. Our storage area is usually packed with poles, folded chairs, and rolls of cloth. It can get pretty dusty and messy when we are loading and unloading the trucks, but that is just the nature of the work. People in Hinkal know us because we’ve helped out with many local functions over the years. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably see us checking the inventory or cleaning the equipment after it comes back from a job. It’s hard physical work sometimes, especially when the weather is hot or it’s raining. We don't have any corporate slogans or polished speeches. We just listen to what you need for your function and try to get the stuff there on time. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s just about getting the job done and making sure the tents are sturdy. We have been doing this a long time and the neighborhood knows where to find us.
