Al- Aswad Granites

Al- Aswad Granites is located in Kavalande, which is part of the Nanjangude T. Q area. It is a bit out of the main city, which gives us plenty of space to store large pieces of granite. Working with granite in a place like Nanjangud means we are mostly dealing with local builders and people from the surrounding villages. It is a quiet area compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough. The granite comes in big blocks or slabs and we have to be very careful with how we stack them. It is dangerous work if you are not paying attention. We don't have a fancy office or any of that. Most of our business is done right there in the yard. We get our hands dirty every single day and that’s just how it is. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or promises. We just have the granite here and if someone needs it, they come and get it. The days are long and the work is physical, but there is something good about seeing a finished piece of stone go out on a truck. We’ve been part of this community for a while and we plan to stay here for many more years, just doing the work we know.
