Basant Tiles

Basant Tiles has been located over at the 3rd Stage Industrial Suburb for a while now. We are at No. 40/41, which is a big space because tiles take up a lot of room. If you walk into our warehouse, you'll see stacks of crates everywhere. It’s dusty work, and my hands are usually covered in some kind of grit by the end of the day. We spend most of our time loading and unloading trucks that come through the suburb. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and big vehicles going past. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have the actual tiles sitting right there so you can see what they really look like in person. Some people come in looking for something specific for their kitchen or bathroom, and we just show them what we have in stock. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years. We know the neighborhood well. It gets hot in the summer under the tin roof, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t try to act like we’re a big chain store. We’re just Basant Tiles, and we’re here every morning opening up the shutters. Sometimes the inventory is a bit messy, but we know where everything is. If you need a tile, you just come to 40/41 and talk to us. It is just the way we have always run the place.
