Green Land Rocks

You can find Green Land Rocks over on Maruthi Temple Street in New Saraswathipuram. Specifically, we’re at number 497, right where the 2nd Cross and 3rd Main intersect. It’s a residential-looking area, but we’ve got our stone yard right there. The sound of rocks being moved is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We’ve got piles of different stones stacked up, and there’s always a bit of dust floating around. People walking to the Maruthi Temple often pass by our gate. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a rock business, tucked away in the streets of New Saraswathipuram, but it works for us. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. If you want to see what we have, you just walk through the yard and look at the piles yourself. The sun beats down on the stone all day, making it hot to the touch. We spend a lot of time loading up small trucks and helping people pick out what they need for their gardens or small building projects. Our hands are usually dirty, and our boots are worn out. We don’t use any complicated sales pitches. We just show you the rocks and tell you the price. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the clinking of the stones. We like being part of the neighborhood and knowing the people who live on the 2nd Cross. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
