Freelancers

We are a group of freelancers working out of a place called Ashwini.S Shalmala. It’s located at 4458, on 11th Main in the J Block 3rd Stage of Datagalli, Mysore. It’s more of a home-style setup than a cold office building. We all have our own things going on, but we share this space to keep ourselves focused. You’ll usually find a few of us hunched over laptops with mugs of coffee nearby. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t wear suits or have formal meetings. If someone has a question, they just shout it across the room. Datagalli is a good area to be in—it’s not too loud, but there’s enough going on. Being on 11th Main, we get a bit of the local breeze, which is nice when it’s warm out. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We’re just individuals trying to make a living by doing what we’re good at. Some of us do writing, some do design, and others handle technical stuff. It’s a bit of a mix, which keeps things interesting. We don't spend time on self-promotion; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and being here in Shalmala makes it feel a bit more like a community than just a job.
