I have been working out of this space at 3036, 1St Main Road in V V Mohalla for some time. It is right across from Nalapak Hotel which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. The office isn't very large but it fits a couple of desks and all the brochures we end up collecting. Mostly we spend the day talking to people about where they want to go for their next break. It might be a quick trip nearby or something longer involving flights and hotels. We handle the bookings and the boring paperwork that comes with it. Planning a trip sounds easy until you actually try to align all the dates and timings, so that is what we do here. My morning usually starts with checking emails and seeing if any flight prices have changed overnight. We get a lot of locals walking in after they’ve had breakfast at the hotel across the street. It is a nice neighborhood to work in and the people are generally friendly. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who like seeing people get excited about their holidays. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when many people want to travel at once during the festival seasons. We just try to keep things organized one day at a time. It’s not a glamorous job but it feels good when someone comes back and tells us they had a decent time.
