Chandan Tours & Travels is over at No.409 on 1St Main in Basavaweshra Nagara. We are in the Vijaynagar 2 Stage part of Mysore. It’s a decent spot for a travel office. Most days we are just sitting here at our desks looking at maps or talking to drivers on the phone. Travel can be a bit of a headache with all the traffic lately, so we spend a lot of time trying to figure out the fastest routes around Mysore and the outskirts. We have been at this location for a while. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the car keys and the logs. Most of our work happens on the road anyway. If you are looking for us, look for the 409 number on the gate. Vijaynagar is a nice area but it is growing fast, which means more cars. We try to keep the cars clean and the drivers on time, though the rain sometimes messes that up. People come in to ask about trips to the hills or just a quick ride to the station. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the cars parked out front. It's a small business, run by locals who know these streets like the back of our hands. We just focus on getting people where they need to go without too much fuss.
