Our office is over in the MK Hostel Building on Vinoba Road. It’s right there in Shivarampet, not too far from the Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry. It's a busy part of town with a lot of history. We’ve been here for a bit now, just helping people plan their trips and get their tickets sorted. It isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. Usually, it's just a few of us at our desks. We deal with all sorts of travel requests. Some people want to go far away, others just need a bus ticket to the next city. We try to keep it all organized, though the piles of paper on the desk might look a bit messy sometimes. Shivarampet is a good place to be because everyone passes through here eventually. We like talking to the people who come in. Everyone has a different story about where they are going. We don't use any high-tech systems that nobody understands. We just use what works and try to be helpful. Sometimes we’re on the phone all morning trying to confirm a booking, but that’s the job. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighborhood well and we’ve been part of it for a while. If you see the hostel building, you’re close. It’s just how we run things day to day without any extra polish or fuss.
