Al-Sabah Tours And Travels has been operating out of Subhashnagar for a good bit of time. Our shop is tucked away on the 2nd Cross, not too far from St. Philomena College. It’s a lively area, and we see a lot of students and locals walking past the door every day. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that, just a local travel shop trying to help people get around Mysore and beyond. Usually, the mornings start with a cup of tea and checking the schedule to see who needs a ride where. We handle all sorts of trips, from quick hops across town to longer journeys that take a few days. The office is small and simple, mostly filled with maps and a couple of desks. We don't spend much on decorations because we’re usually out or busy on the phone. Sometimes the traffic on 2nd Main gets a bit backed up, which can be a headache, but we manage. We’ve lived in this part of Mysore for ages, so we know the local streets like the back of our hands. It’s mostly regular customers who come to us, people from the neighborhood who know where we are. We just focus on keeping the cars running and making sure the drivers show up on time. There’s always something to fix or a route to plan, so it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just want to get things done right and keep moving through the day.
