Akul Tourism

We've been at No 279 on Lakshmivilsa Road for a while now. Akul Tourism is just a small place here in K R Mohalla, right near Jagan Mohan Palace. Most people find us because they're already walking around that area. It's an old part of Mysore and we like it here. We handle travel stuff for people coming through or locals heading out. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. We just have a desk, some chairs, and a phone that rings quite a bit. Sometimes the traffic outside gets noisy since we are so close to the palace, but that's just how it is in this neighborhood. If you are looking for us, look for the sign near the corner. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the evening. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the roads and the train schedules. Sometimes things get busy and we might be on the phone, but we try to talk to everyone who walks in. We deal with cars and bookings mostly. It’s practical work. We don’t spend much time on fancy websites or advertisements. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. If you need help getting somewhere, we're here. We know the shortcuts around Mysore and where the roads are currently blocked for construction. That's about it really. Just a local travel spot doing our daily thing.
