Being in Andheri East means you’re always in the middle of everything. Our office is in Crystal Tower Chambers, which is 701, right across from where Natraj Studio used to be. It’s a bit of a landmark area, especially with the Landmark Building right there too. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets and helping people figure out where their money is going. We get a lot of noise from the main road, especially from the traffic heading past Vishal Hall. The office isn't massive, but we have enough space for the files and a couple of chairs for whoever drops by. Sometimes people get lost trying to find us since the tower has a lot of similar-looking doors. We just keep a pot of tea going and try to make sense of the market changes. It’s not very exciting work for most people, but we find it okay. We see a lot of different faces, from young folks just starting their first job to older people looking at their savings. The elevator in the building is usually slow, so we tell everyone to leave a bit early. There’s a lot of paper around the desks, mostly tax forms and bank statements that need sorting. We just try to keep things simple for the people who come to see us.
