Our team at Avendus Capital Pvt Ltd works from the 5th floor of the Il & Fs Financial Center. We are located specifically in the B Quadrant of the building. It is a big structure in the Bandra Kurla Complex, though the address lists us near Hughes Road in Bandra East as well. This area is always moving fast. There are constantly people in suits walking all over BKC. We are just one of many offices in this massive complex. The view from our windows on the 5th floor is not anything special, mostly just other tall office buildings and the never-ending traffic below. We spend the majority of our hours sitting at computers or huddled in meeting rooms. It is a professional environment, but we try to keep things fairly relaxed between ourselves. Sometimes the air conditioning gets way too cold, so you will see some of us wearing sweaters even when it is boiling hot outside. Getting into the building requires going through security, which can take a few minutes during the morning rush. We have all gotten used to the routine by now. The Il & Fs Financial Center is a bit of a maze if you do not know where the B Quadrant is, so we usually have to explain that to visitors. We are not trying to be anything flashy. We are just a group of people doing our work in a busy part of town. There is always coffee brewing in the corner.
