Alkeshv Parikh

Working out of Kandivali, Alkeshv Parikh is pretty much a local operation. It is one of those parts of Mumbai that never really stops moving, even late at night. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of documents that need looking at. Most days start with the sound of the local trains in the distance and the neighbors opening up their shops. There is a specific kind of rhythm to working here in the suburbs. It is not like those big firms in South Mumbai where everything is polished and perfect. Here, things are a bit more grounded. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is usually covered in notes and pens. But that is how real work gets done. It is about being accessible to the people who live and work around Kandivali. Sometimes people drop by just to chat about a project or to hand over some papers they forgot to send. There is usually a bit of a breeze coming through the window in the evening, which feels nice after a long day of sitting at the computer. We do not go in for fancy presentations or complicated talk. It is just about being honest about the work and doing it properly. The commute can be a bit much sometimes, but being based right here makes it easier to stay connected to the community.
