Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd.

Our office is on the 6th floor of the Dheeraj Arma building, right on Station Road. It is a very busy spot because of the train station nearby and all the commuters who are always rushing past the front door. We spend our days looking through home loan applications and talking to people who are trying to buy their first houses. It involves a lot of thick files, blue ink, and signatures. The elevators in this building are often a bit slow or crowded in the mornings, so most of us try to get to our desks early to avoid the wait. It is not exactly an exciting job, but we see a lot of different people coming through the doors every week. We are not the ones making the big corporate decisions at the top of the company; we just handle the day-to-day paperwork here at this branch. The view from our windows on the 6th floor is mostly just other dusty rooftops and the train tracks. We have a small corner with a kettle where we take our lunch breaks together. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when there are end-of-the-month deadlines, but we usually manage to get through the pile of folders. We are not here to give you a long sales pitch. We just explain how the forms work and help people get the documents in order. It is a regular office.
