I’m located over in Malad East, in B-508. The building is near the Saket Building, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the place. It’s a standard apartment block. I use one of the rooms as my workspace. It’s pretty quiet up on the fifth floor. I have a view of the other buildings and a bit of the street. Malad is always busy, but this spot feels a bit tucked away from the main rush. I keep my files in a metal cupboard and have a small wooden table I work at. It’s not a professional office with a receptionist or anything. If the phone rings, I’m the one picking it up. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It helps me stay focused when I’m going through paperwork. The building has an elevator, but sometimes it’s quicker to wait for it than to take the stairs all the way up. I’ve been doing this for a while now. Most people who come here are from the nearby societies. It’s a simple life, really. I don’t have a big marketing plan or fancy brochures. People just find me through word of mouth or if they live nearby. It’s a honest way to work. Just a simple room in Malad where I get things done every day. I keep a calendar on the wall with all my notes scribbled in the margins.
