Yogendra Prasad Mishra

Working out of the Topiwala Building at 161/A Parel has its own rhythm. This building has been around for a long time, and you can feel that when you walk up the stairs. My name is Yogendra Prasad Mishra, and this is where I handle my daily business. It’s a traditional setup, nothing like those modern offices you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. I’ve got my desk, my files, and the usual things I need to get through the day. Parel is a place that never really stops, and being here in the heart of it means there’s always something happening outside the window. I don’t really believe in making things sound more complicated than they are. I just do my work, talk to the people who come to see me, and try to keep things organized. Most of my day is spent on paperwork or meeting with folks who have been coming to me for years. It’s a quiet kind of life inside the office, even if it’s loud outside. I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but this building stays pretty much the same. I like the familiarity of it. There aren’t any big slogans or marketing plans here. It’s just me doing what I know how to do, day in and day out, in a space that feels like home after all this time.
