Yash Acrylic

At Yash Acrylic, we spend most of our time covered in fine white dust from cutting sheets. We are located in Goregaon West on Alandi Road 2. It’s a small workshop, and you can usually hear the sound of the saws from the street. We do a lot of custom cutting for local shops and people who need signs or display boxes. The space is a bit cramped because acrylic sheets take up a lot of room. We have to move stacks around just to get to the back of the shop sometimes. It’s a family-run place, so there’s always someone around even on holidays. We don't have a website or a big storefront. We just have our name on the door and a lot of samples lying around for people to look at. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, which gives us time to have some snacks. We’ve been on Alandi Road for a few years now and we know all the neighbors. They come by when they need a small piece of plastic or just to say hello. It’s not a polished business, just a place where we work with our hands and try to make things that look decent. We use old machines that we’ve fixed ourselves many times. It works for us and we get the jobs finished on time. The floor is messy, but the work is good.
