Yamuna Sales Corporation

Yamuna Sales Corporation is located over on Naroda Road in the Kalbadevi area. We are in the compound there at Shop Number 11 on the ground floor. It is a very busy part of the city and there are always trucks and tempos moving goods in and out of the complex. Our shop is filled with boxes and inventory stacked up almost to the ceiling. We deal with various sales and distribution tasks and it can get quite hectic during the morning hours when the new stock arrives. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep as much as we can on hand for our customers. It’s not a showroom where everything is on display behind glass. It is a working warehouse and office where we handle orders and talk to suppliers. The noise from the main road is constant and you can hear the horns honking all day long. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with packing tape and cardboard scraps but we clean it up at the end of the shift. We have been in this ground floor spot for years and most of the other shop owners in the compound are like neighbors to us. We just keep things moving and make sure the orders get out the door as fast as we can manage.
