Woods India Factory

The factory is situated at Plot 21 and 22 on 5 Vihar Road. It is a proper workspace where there is always the smell of cut wood and the sound of saws running all through the morning and afternoon. We have been on this plot for a long time and the space is filled with raw materials and finished pieces waiting to be moved out to customers. Vihar Road is a busy stretch with lots of commercial activity, so there is always something going on outside our gates. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of sawdust no matter how much we sweep it or try to keep it tidy. We don't have a fancy office area; our desks are just tucked into a corner of the main shed where we can keep an eye on everything happening. It gets very loud during the day, so we have to raise our voices to talk to each other over the noise of the machines. We wear simple clothes that we don't mind getting dirty because that is just the nature of the work here. It is a tough, physical job and we have a small crew of workers who have been with us for many years. We don't bother with brochures or big advertisements because the work we do speaks for itself when people see it. It is just a local factory doing what we know how to do best in this part of town.
