Our showroom and office are located on the 6th floor of Eureka Towers in Malad West. We are in the B Wing, which is right behind the Toyota showroom. If you are coming from the link road, that’s the best landmark to look for. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the traffic below, though you can still hear the distant honking. We have a lot of furniture samples spread out across the floor—chairs, desks, and storage units. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get new stock in. The office part is tucked away in the back where we handle all the orders and phone calls. We have a small balcony where some of the staff goes to get a bit of air. The elevators can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour because the building is full of other businesses. We have a small pantry with a very basic coffee machine that gets a lot of use. The carpets are a dark grey to hide the footprints from all the visitors we get. It’s a pretty functional space without a lot of bells and whistles. We spend a lot of time helping people try out different chairs to see what feels right for them. It’s a steady kind of job in a busy part of Malad. We usually close up when the sun starts to go down and the traffic gets really bad.
