Arvind Furniture

We are located right near the flyover bridge in Shivaji Nagar, pretty much next to the Goregaon Municipal Hospital. It’s a loud area with all the vehicles coming off the bridge, but it’s where we do all our work. We make and sell furniture, so there is usually a bit of dust and the smell of wood in the air. We have some finished pieces out front and the workshop area is where the real work happens. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It’s a practical shop where we get our hands dirty. We’ve been here for years, and most people in the neighborhood know us by now. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just build things that people need for their homes. Sometimes we are busy with a big order for some chairs or a cupboard, and other times it’s just small repairs for people living nearby. The hospital is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. We keep the shop open late most days. It gets a bit hectic when the traffic picks up under the flyover, but we’re used to the noise. We just focus on the wood and the tools. It’s an honest living and we like being right here in the heart of the local community.
