Royal Furnitures

We are situated at 206 Mahim, on Ishwarbhai Ashram Road. We are very close to Hinduja Hospital, which most people know. The shop is full of wood and sawdust. We make and sell all kinds of furniture. You can find sofas, chairs, and cupboards squeezed into the space. It is a bit crowded because we try to show as much as we can. The smell of fresh wood and polish is always in the air. We have a small workshop area in the back where the sawing and hammering happens. Ishwarbhai Ashram Road gets busy, especially with people going to the hospital. We see a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes people just wander in to sit on a sofa for a minute. We don't mind. It is a local business and we know a lot of the families in Mahim. Our floors are wooden and they creak a bit when you walk around. We spend a lot of our day talking to people about what size bed or table they need. It is not a shiny mall store; it is a real workshop where things get built. We have tools hanging on the walls and pieces of fabric samples laying around. It is a busy life but we enjoy working with our hands. We have been here for years and the shop has become a part of the daily life on this road.
