Our shop is on the ground floor over in the Balajinagar area, specifically on Thigalapalya Main Road. We’re right across from Bhatia Hospital in Tardeo. It’s a central location, which makes it easy for people to stop by. Akruti Kitchen & Furniture Pvt Ltd is basically a workshop and a small showroom rolled into one. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of sawdust or looking over some blueprints. We don't have a big sales pitch or a fancy gallery. It’s mostly just samples of wood and hardware lying around. We got into this because we like the process of building things for people’s homes. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of materials in, but it works for us. We don't have a polished team of designers; it’s just us talking to customers about what they need and then trying to make it happen. The street outside is always noisy with the hospital traffic, but once you’re inside, we just focus on the projects. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure a cabinet door closes right or a table is sturdy. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local neighborhood. Sometimes we get things wrong and have to fix them, but that's part of the trade. We just want to make stuff that people can actually use every day.
