Wonder Years - Nursery School And Teacher Trainig Center

Wonder Years is down at Tardeo, specifically at 2-B/2 Film Center on the ground floor. Being near Sobo Central Mall means there is always a lot of movement outside. The ground floor location is good because nobody has to deal with the elevators or stairs with small children. It is an old building, the Film Center, but it has its own character. We have two parts to what we do here. One side is for the nursery kids who are just starting out. The other side is for the people who want to become teachers. It makes for an interesting mix of people in the hallway. The nursery area is full of the usual chaos—toys scattered around, little coats hanging on hooks, and the sound of kids talking over each other. On the training side, it is a bit more serious with adults taking notes and talking about child development. We use the same space for both, just at different times or in different rooms. Tardeo is a central place, so we get people coming from all over this part of Mumbai. The lighting inside is okay, though we rely on the overhead tubes mostly. We have got a lot of cupboards filled with supplies like chart paper and glue. It is a practical space designed for working and learning. Nothing is too polished, but it serves the purpose for the neighborhood and the students who come here.
