Wim Plast

Wim Plast is based out of Goregaon East, specifically in the Jigani Industrial Area at unit number 8. It is pretty much what you would expect from a place like this. The mornings start early around here because the traffic in Goregaon can get really bad if you do not beat the rush. We spend most of our time dealing with plastic materials and getting things moved around the warehouse. It is a bit noisy because of the machinery and the other units nearby, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Some of us have been working here a long time, so we know the local chai stall guys and where to get a decent lunch. The building itself is not anything fancy, just a solid industrial space where we get the work done. We handle a lot of different plastic items, and there is usually a stack of crates or molds sitting near the entrance waiting to be sorted. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the shed feel quite warm, but we keep the fans going. It is just regular people working hard to make sure orders go out on time. We do not really have a big office or anything, just a small desk area where the paperwork happens. It feels like a second home to most of us since we spend more time here than anywhere else. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the machines are running like they should.
