Our office is right across from the Charni Road Station, so the sounds of the trains coming and going are pretty much constant for us. We are located at number 43 in the Ruby Compound along Mk Road. It is an older building that has been around for many years, and you can definitely feel that history when you walk in. The workspace we have is simple and functional. We handle a lot of different electronic goods and gadgets, so there are usually stacks of cartons tucked into every available corner. Most of the staff here take the train to work because the station is so close, which makes life a bit easier. The stairs in the compound can be a bit narrow, especially when we are moving stock around. We don’t really go in for any corporate styling or polished interiors. It is just a place where we sit down, answer the phones, and pack up orders. Usually, there is some light conversation going on while we work. We know the food vendors in the area quite well since we often grab a quick bite from them during the lunch hour. The atmosphere is generally quite busy, but we have a good rhythm going. It can get a bit hot in the summer months, but the fans keep the air moving enough. We are just a regular team of people doing our daily jobs in a very busy part of the city.
