Gurukripa Xerox

In Wadala, specifically over in Himmat Nagar East, you’ll find us running Gurukripa Xerox. It’s a straightforward kind of place where the main sound you hear is the hum of the copy machines. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and most of the students and office workers around here know us by now. The shop is filled with stacks of paper and the smell of toner, which is pretty much what you’d expect. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls because there’s just no room for it between the machines and the counters. Himmat Nagar East is a busy part of town, so there is always someone coming in for a quick copy or to get some papers stapled together. We don't really have a philosophy other than getting the copies out as fast as we can so people don’t have to wait in line too long. Sometimes the machines act up or get jammed, and we have to spend some time getting our hands dirty fixing them, but that’s just part of the daily routine. We like being in Wadala because it feels like a real neighborhood where people actually talk to each other. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s just us doing our work and helping out whoever walks through the door. We stay focused on the paper and the ink and making sure everything looks readable. I think that’s enough for us.
