Omega Electronics

We set up Omega Electronics on Chnda Varkers Road in Santacruz East quite a few years back. It’s a busy little stretch of road. We deal with all sorts of electronic gadgets and repairs. It’s the kind of shop where you’ll find a bit of everything on the shelves, from remote controls to spare parts for older radios. My dad started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. Now I’m the one mostly running things. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Buildings going up and shops changing hands, but we are still here in the same spot. It gets a bit dusty with the road construction nearby, but we try to keep the glass cases clean. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical workshop. People bring us their broken TVs or music systems, and we see what we can do. Sometimes things are too old to fix, and we have to be honest about that. We don't want people spending money on something that won't last. Most of our customers are from the apartments around here. They know us and we know them. It’s a decent way to make a living, helping people get their stuff working again. We usually close for lunch, but otherwise, we are here all day. It is a good place to be.
