Voltas Ltd

Down in Chembur, behind Suman Nagar, you’ll find the Ameya Building. We are in 204. V N Purav Marg at number 419 is usually packed with cars, so it can be a bit of a headache to get here during peak hours. But once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve set up Voltas Ltd in this room to keep things running for the local area. It’s a functional space. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a window that looks out over the rooftops. We don't have fancy brochures or a lobby with a TV. We just have a place to sit and talk. Mumbai is a city that doesn't stop, and we try to keep up with that energy without making things complicated. We handle the local inquiries and the logistical side of things. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We aren’t interested in making things sound more important than they are. It’s just a job in a busy city. Most of us have been working here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise from the Marg anymore. We drink our chai, do our work, and keep the doors open for anyone who needs us. It’s a decent way to spend the day without any unnecessary drama. We just take things as they come and try to get them finished. It's a bit cramped, but we make it work for what we need to do.
