Voltas Ltd.

Voltas House is a well-known building on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road in Chinchpokli. It’s a bit of an old landmark in this part of Mumbai. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age in some spots. We work on cooling and air conditioning stuff mostly. It’s a large office with a lot of different departments, but it doesn't feel like those modern tech offices you see in magazines. It’s more traditional, with heavy desks and a lot of paper moving around. Chinchpokli is a busy area, and there’s always something happening right outside our doors. We see a lot of people coming in for meetings or just to drop off documents. The staff here are mostly regulars who have been with the company for decades. We talk about the weather a lot because that’s when people really need what we make. During the monsoon, the street can get a bit flooded, but we still show up and do our work. It’s a steady kind of place. We don’t have fancy slogans painted on the walls. We just focus on the machines and making sure everything is running right. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you don’t know where you’re going. We’re just part of the local scenery here, doing our jobs every day like everyone else in the city. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
