We’ve been here at St. Andrew Road for quite a while now. If you walk past Holy Family Hospital and head toward Utopia 5, you’ll find our unit at G-1. It’s a busy spot, always something happening outside on the street. Inside the office, things are usually a bit cluttered with drawings and technical manuals scattered around. Most days start early with a quick check of the project list. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working through whatever comes across the desk. Sometimes it gets loud when the equipment is running, but that’s just how it goes in engineering. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly dealing with temperature systems and mechanical stuff. It’s steady work. The guys have been around for years, so we all know how the others work. We take our tea breaks together when there's a gap in the schedule. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it’s just a solid place where we get things done. You might see us unloading parts on the sidewalk sometimes. It can be a bit of a mess, but we clear it up by the end of the day. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls, just a practical space for practical people. We stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. By the time we wrap up for the evening, the street is usually a bit quieter and we can finally hear ourselves think.
