Voltas Ltd.

We are located over by the Reliance Trends, which is where most people tell others to go if they are looking for us. Voltas has a presence here to handle the local needs of the community. It isn't a massive corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s more of a functional spot where we coordinate things and talk to people about their cooling and engineering needs. The office is pretty basic. We have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of product manuals lying around. It gets busy during the summer months for obvious reasons. That is when the phones don't stop ringing and everyone is in a bit of a rush. During the cooler months, things settle down and we spend more time on maintenance and organizing the back end. The staff here are locals who know the area well. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are better than anyone else. We just know our machines and how to keep them running. We eat lunch together most days and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded workplace. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look, as long as the work is getting done. Being near the Trends store means there is always a lot of foot traffic, so we see a lot of people passing by our windows every day.
