Voltas Limited

You can find us over at Jay Anand Society, in flat B/503. It's on Javkar Gali, right off Gulmohar Marg in Chunabhatti. It’s a bit of a different setup since we are in a residential-style building, but it suits the way we work. We’ve been here for a while now. Mumbai is a crowded place, so you take the space where you can get it. We handle things for Voltas Limited from this little corner of the 400 022 zip code. It’s mostly just us and our computers, making sure the orders are going out and the customers are getting their visits. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat, which makes the day go by faster. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. We prefer to keep things low-key. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phones to filing papers. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the elevator is out, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be some massive corporate entity with a lobby. We’re just local people doing our jobs in a neighborhood we know well. We take things as they come and try to stay organized. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us and the people we help every day. We just stay focused on the tasks we have on our desks.
