Vijay Travels

Vijay Travels is located over at Nariman Point, specifically on 8th Cross Sampige Road 721. It’s a busy area and we've been part of it for a good long time. Usually, the day starts with us opening the shutters and cleaning the dust off the front window. We deal with all sorts of travel requests, from people visiting family to those going on short work trips. It's not a big fancy operation. We have a couple of computers that are getting a bit old, but they still work fine for booking seats. The office isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when more than three people walk in at once. We know most of the regulars by their names because they’ve been coming to us for years. Sometimes we run out of tea while we’re talking to customers, which is always a bit of a nuisance. We focus on getting the tickets right and making sure everyone knows where the bus picks them up. Dealing with travel means things change fast, so we spend a lot of time on the phone checking with the main operators. It's a lot of back and forth, really. We don't spend much time on decorating or making things look slick. We just want to make sure the paperwork is done correctly so nobody gets stuck somewhere they don't want to be. It’s just us here every day, working through the bookings one by one. It gets the job done.
