You can find Vijay Sales at Room No 1, Makarani Chawal, in Subhash Nagar, Mumbai. Our address is in Maharashtra 400 060. It’s a small place, just a single room in the chawl, but it’s where we do all our work. We’ve been here in Subhash Nagar for quite a while. Most of the people living nearby know us. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It's just a simple room where we keep our inventory and do the billing. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work. I usually sit at the main table and handle the customers who walk in. We don't do any online ads or big promotions. Most of our customers are locals or people who were told about us by their friends. It's a very basic way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. We handle various sales items depending on what's available at the time. The neighborhood is lively and there’s always something going on outside the door. We keep the door open for the breeze during the afternoon because it gets quite warm inside. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a small local spot where we try to make a living. We keep our accounts in a simple ledger book and try to keep things clear for everyone. It's just how we have always done things here, day in and day out.
