Shailesh Electronics

Shailesh Electronics is located in the B Wing of Dadi House on Irla Society Road. We are right in Vile Parle West, and if you look across the street, you’ll see Prime Mall. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always a lot of noise and people walking by. Our shop is packed with all sorts of things—circuit boards, wires, old televisions, and new gadgets that people bring in for us to look at. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Usually, there’s a counter with a few stools where customers sit while we explain what’s wrong with their device. We do a lot of repairs and sell some parts too. Since we’re right opposite the mall, we get a lot of foot traffic from people who didn’t find what they wanted over there. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have a lot of big items waiting to be fixed, but we make it work. We’ve been here for years, and the regulars know they can just drop in and have a chat while we work. It’s a local business, through and through. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a corporate script. We just talk to people like neighbors and try to get their electronics working again so they don’t have to buy something new. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but it’s home.
