Able Electronics

Operating out of No.15 New Malinee Co-Op Society Ltd on Mahakali Caves Road keeps us right in the thick of things in Andheri. We are just opposite Canossa High School, so we hear the bells and the kids shouting during their lunch breaks every single day. Able Electronics is a small setup. It’s not one of those massive retail chains you see in the malls. We have wires and components tucked into various drawers and shelves. Some days the place looks a bit cluttered because we’re in the middle of three different things at once. Finding a specific resistor or a circuit board takes a minute if you don't know where we last put it. Opposite Vannsa Hipur, there’s always some traffic moving along, and the noise from the road never really stops. We spend a lot of time hunched over workbenches with soldering irons or testing gear. It’s quiet work in a loud neighborhood. The regulars around here know where to find us if their gadgets act up or if they need a specific part for a project. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. It’s a bit dusty, and the coffee usually goes cold before we finish it, but that is just the way it goes here. We just try to keep things running for everyone who stops by and makes sure everything works as it should.
