Vijay Kumar Ramchandra Karandikar

Down in IC Colony, things feel a bit different than the rest of Mumbai. It feels more like a community where people actually know each other. My office is located at 2 Devidas Lane, right inside Mathew Mansion. It is a name that people recognize if they have lived around here for a while. I am Vijay Kumar Ramchandra Karandikar, and I have been running things from this specific spot for quite a bit of time. The building is a bit older, which I actually like. It has more character than these new glass towers they keep building everywhere else. Devidas Lane is usually a bit quieter, though you still get the usual city sounds from the main roads. I do not have a fancy website or a marketing department to handle things. If people need my help, they usually find me through someone else or they just walk in. I spend my days dealing with various tasks and talking to neighbors who stop by. It is a very local way of doing business. I have a small desk and a few chairs for visitors to sit in. Nothing fancy at all. Sometimes I go for a short walk in the colony during my break just to clear my head. The neighbors are friendly, and we all know each other’s faces. I do not believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. I just take the work as it comes and try to be helpful.
