Vijay Electrical Hardward Stores

Vijay Electrical Hardward Stores is our small shop located at Shop No 7 in Himalaya Apartment over in Santacruz East. We are right opposite R K Hospital so it is quite easy to find us if you are in the area. We have been selling switches, wires, bulbs, and basic hardware tools for a long time now. The shop is usually crowded with rolls of wire and different types of pipes but we manage. Most of the people who come in are electricians or guys living in the apartments nearby who need to fix a leak or a broken light. We try to keep the basic things people need for their houses so they don't have to travel too far. It isn't a fancy showroom at all. There are some old wooden counters and plenty of dust from the hardware supplies. Sometimes we run out of a specific screw size but we get new stock every few days. Being near the hospital means the road is always busy. We just sit here and help whoever walks in with a list of parts. My brother and I run the place mostly. We aren't really into big talk, we just find the part you need, wrap it up, and that’s it. It’s a practical business and we like it that way. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot but the shop stays pretty much the same year after year.
